I am Andres (he/him/his), Industrial Engineer by the Universidad de Navarra. So I studied some physics, chemistry, electronics, fluids, management, human resources, microeconomics, macroeconomics, company ethics, CAD, programming, control engineering, mechanics ... a bit of everything. I am a Chartered Industrial Engineer in Spain.

I worked at the National Physical Laboratory where I got to do a lot of cool stuff. If I can highlight some it would be creating new measurements facilities, clean room facilities management and measurements with Atomic Force Microscopes (yes and some data analysis too!). I am a member of the Institute of Physics and an STEM ambassador with up to date DBS check.

I really like volunteering in the maker space I helped set up as a co-founder. Hopefully we can grow and make a larger impact in our community. Please visit RichmondMakerLabs, RML for short, and think about joining us.

I am very passionate about free as in Freedom software and open hardware. I enjoy doing simple scripts in python for data analysis.

You can get in touch with me via IRC on free node amunizp or XMPP: amunizp using the member.fsf.org server. Or by traditional mail with andres (at) c4ad.eu.

I asked 15 people I know for up to three words that describe me. Some people only managed a couple of words, so I have left them as empty. You can see the results here.
